The ASIAN AMERICAN
BASKETBALL LEAGUE
"Cultivating fellowship and diversity in the community through basketball"
Check out the standouts of the 2007 Season! 2007 AABL SEASON SUPERLATIVES! These Season "Awards" are just a way for the league to give credit where it is due-- to the players and teams that made the league great this season. In many other leagues and tourneys, a player's performance is judged solely by how many points they score. We definitely give props to the scorers, but because the AABL is seriously about basketball and its many other facets, the AABL Awards gives us the op to give credit to the other players who don't necessarily light up the scoreboard but help their teams in other ways. Please keep in mind that no actual AWARD is given. Hit us up and tell us your opinions on our choices! info@naabl.com or just sign the GUESTBOOK!

July 2008
With less than three weeks before the start of the AABL 2008 Season, the
AABL is getting geared up for another hype basketball season! While we hold it down on this side, the
players and teams are making moves of their own for this 7th AABL-NAABL Season-- a season which
will definitely be the most competitive and wide open season yet! With various off-season moves
made, some teams combining, and the addition of new squads and talent, the league this year will
once again succeed in providing an exciting and entertaining basketball environment for players and
fans! So don't miss any of the action! The Season Jump-Off is Sunday, February 17, President's Day
Weekend.
ATTENTION TEAMS: Please have all your roster forms completely filled out and signed by each player BEFORE your team steps onto the court for the first game. Also, EVERY PLAYER under the age of 18 MUST have the Minor's Waiver Form filled out. Each teams' contact person should have these available. No forms, no play. Each team has until Week 2 to make any changes to their roster.
The league is strictly enforcing player eligibility rules this season. Please read THE RULES for further elaboration on player eligibility in the AABL. If for any reason a player is questionable, the AABL reserves the right to keep that player from participating in a game and/or the season. However, the player may once again participate if sufficient proof of eligibility is attained. Sufficient proof is judged upon by the AABL Rules Committee. These measures are necessary in order for the AABL to maintain the integrity of the league.
Please be aware that after 6 Seasons of playing all AABL games at Lake Taylor Middle School, we have changed our venue. ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT AZALEA GARDEN MIDDLE SCHOOL. AGMS is located on Azalea Garden Road in Norfolk, less than 2 miles from the Norfolk Airport. Please notify your teammates of this change.
